Summer is upon us and it's getting HOT! But we know the drill- we go hunting for our catch where we know where they will be after a cool Spring.
Look for those Panfish to be snuggling into dark areas away from the sun: docks, laydowns, grass beds, etc. Early in the day and in evenings, the might venture out a bit but won't get deep.
Those Crappies are going to be hanging out in 6-12 feet and looking for minnows, so launch your line over there. Keep your minnows alive and kicking though or the gig is up.
As for Bass, "hit the slop!" we all say- duckweed, algae and general gunk protects them from the sun but not from us! We have some special hooks that will help you fight through the crud: https://www.rod-n-bobbs.com/products/zoneloc-flippin-fish-hook
